• Hi! I’m Linaire, a family lifestyle and personal branding photographer now based in Queenstown, NZ. Being a creative with a background in sales and marketing, photography is just an extension of everything I enjoy. I love capturing real stories, be it for your everyday family and friends’ moments, or for highlighting behind the scenes moments for your small business.

  • When you book me, don’t expect a 20-something photographer to land on your doorstep – I’m older, and wiser ;-) I waited until my kids grew up before I decided I could follow my dreams and take this leap into being a photographer. I AM your ultimate ‘it’s never too late’ role model who will understand and relate to your ‘silly’ questions about photo shoots, or sharing your photos on social media. My clients range from their 20s right through to their 80’s and I love that I easily relate to all ages. This is a huge part of why I love what I do.

    Read on if you want to know a bit more about me, I may just be your next photographer;

  • I have loved photography for as long as I can remember. My photography style is relaxed with a focus on connections and authentic moments during your session - more fun, with just a bit of guided posing if needed. And your gallery will usually have a shot you weren’t expecting!

  • Being a mum is my everything. Even though my girls are now beautiful young adults, they are still my proudest achievement. Ever!

  • I love refinishing old furniture using chalk paint, and I will often make my own wall art instead of buying it, just to see what I can create.

  • My oldest daughter surprised me with a trip to Italy a few years ago! Yes, seriously!! I knew I was going away somewhere and thought it was overseas. Like Australia. Or Fiji. Italy is a place I have always been drawn to and I’d go back in a heartbeat. My youngest daughter bought us tickets to see Moulin Rouge, so we spent three days in Paris on the way home. Best. Holiday. Ever!

  • I’m a huge animal lover, but don’t ask me to choose a favourite. My last two cats have been house guests that have stayed with me while their humans were settling into new homes. I now live with a husky, a rescue dog, and a big old ginger cat called Nacho so if my clothes are covered in fluff when we meet, you’ll know why!

  • In 2017 I left my job and went sailing around the South Pacific for five months. No, I’m not a sailor, or at least I wasn’t, but I guess that sailing across the ocean from Tonga to Fiji to Vanuatu and New Caledonia, often with just two of us on a catamaran, kind of makes me a sailor. It was totally out of my comfort zone, but one of my bravest adventures ever, and the places, the people and the friendships we discovered will be with me forever.

  • That’s a bit about me and my story – get in touch if you would love me to capture yours x
